In accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, the Contracts Department of Fleet Industrial Supply, San Diego, CA intends to procure services required to upgrade/modify Lodge and Shipley CNC Lathe, Model 2013. The contractor shall replace existing electronics and magnetics panel circuit with GE Fanuc 0-TD control and AC digital servo drives. The GE Fanuc 0-TD control shall include the following options: 9" Mono MDI/CRT display in pendant station; part program storage edit (264ft/80M); programmable controller interface (PMC-L-5K steps); inch/metric conversion; external data input; stored pitch error compensation; spindle binary/ analog interface; tool nose radius compensation; Reader/Punch interface (RS-232C); Tool offset 32 pair; 63 Stored part programs; and operator control station with manual pulse generator. Contractor shall be responsible for the purchase, design, programming, and installation of the GE Fanuc 0-TD control; purchase, design, and wiring of operator station and magnetics cabinet and panel; installation of AC digital servo amplifiers and I/O modules; mechanical installation of spindle encoder, operation station and two (2) GE Fanuc AC servo motors; check out all control systems; and provide two (2) complete copies of compatible documentation.
