Subject to funding limitations, an RFP will be issued for operation of the Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps Center, Minot, North Dakota during the period July 1, 1998 to June 30, 1999. Job Corps is a residential training program for economically disadvantaged youth, between the ages of 16-25. Contractors will be expected to manage and operate a Government-owned facility and hire staff for residential living, basic education, vocational training, and provision of health services. The resulting contract will be cost-reimbursement plus fixed fee for a two-year base period with three (3) one-year options to renew. All activities will be in compliance with applicable DOL/Job Corps regulations, policies and handbooks. Requirements for Job Corps contracts are published in the Job Corps Policy and Requirements Handbook (PRH). The first copy is free and must be ordered from the Forms Distribution Center, North Texas Job Corps Center, P. O. Box 8003, McKinney, Texas 75069-8003. Requests for the PRH should be made onbusiness letterhead and refer to Stock No. 96500. Actual issuance of the RFP will occur approximately 30 weeks prior to expiration of the current contract.
