DeFilipps, Contract Specialist, (404) 842-6785 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contemplates awarding a contract for Mission Support Services for Preparation of Toxicological Profiles. The successful contractor will be required to support the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) in the following areas: development and updating (as new knowledge becomes available) of toxicological profiles; analysis of specific topics related to the development of the toxicological profiles; identification of data needs; and the determination of significant human exposure levels (SHELs) for a target number of hazardous substances which are most commonly found at facilities on the EPA National Priorities List (NPL) and which pose the most significant potential threat to human health. In addition, the proposed contract will provide support for continued development of draft and final toxicological profiles on substances that may be identified by the Department of Energy and Department of Defense. The anticipated performance period is 60 months. Requests for the solicitation will be filled on a limited first-come-first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. The date specified for receipt of offers will be approximately 30 days after the RFP issue date. Requests for the RFP must specify the RFP No. 98B240(N). Telephone requests will not be accepted.
