SOURCES SOUGHT: GSA, FSS, has a requirement for a centralized mailing list service (CMLS). The primary functions of the CMLS include, managing the database and maintaining the accuracy of the customer address data; filling agency request for stock of publications to enable fulfillment of orders in a timely fashion; and mail all publications in accordance with the CMLS. Vendor must have at a minimum the following equipment and space in their own establishment, in order to fulfil this requirement: At a minimum 1,000 sq.ft. of storage space; telephones; fax machine; copier; personal computer with e-mail, CASS and PAVE Certified software, printer capable of printing CASS-Certified addresses with barcodes. Mailing Equipment: Vendor must have the following: Electronic production mailing system capable of best-rate shopping for a variety of vendors (USPS, UPS, RPS, etc.). The mailing system will include equipment for all classes and categories of mail with the emphasis on parcels 1 lb to 30 lb range: Electronic Postage meter and mailing machine; electronic scales; electronic accumulator or manifesting system. Other shipping equipment includes: Tabbing equipment; parcel sealing equipment such as hot melt dispenser, gummed or pressure sensitive tape dispensers, storage bins or racks, packaging tables, forklift. Must have warehouse shipping facility with dock space for ease in using roll-around equipment (hampers and other type of transporting equipment).
