Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, Plant
Protection and Quarantine, requires aircraft services to support the
Medfly Program in California. The base of operations will be Los
Alamitos Armed Forces Center, Los Alamitos, California. The initial
requirement will be for at least four aircraft with qualified pilots
and dispersers for aerial distribution of sterile medflies, but as many
as eight aircraft with crew might be required at some point to satisfy
Program expansion demands. Special purpose modifications will be
required for installation of the refrigerated insect release machine
