This project is a fixed price contract for the design and construction of approximately 50,160 gross square feet of administrative office space (Administration Building) to be located on an existing site at the North Houston Processing & Distribution Center, 4600 Aldine-Bender Road, Houston, Texas, as shown on specifications and drawings made a part hereof. Key features of the project include, but are not limited to, the following: Representative construction type to be: Demolition of existing interior support spaces, concrete foundation and concrete floor slab, steel framed building expansion with insulated masonry cavity wall construction. Project is to include universal wiring requirements. Fixed mechanization is not required. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, all trades typical to the complete construction of a project such as site work, utilities, paving, landscaping, limestone panels, concrete, masonry, steel, roofing, waterproofing, interior finishes and equipment, millwork, signage, doors and windows, aluminum framing with glass, glazing, hardware, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical and mechanical equipment, as described in the solicitation for proposals. Technical Qualifications Evaluation is based on a 100-point total (Experience -- 40, Past Performance -- 30, Organization -- 25, and Backlog -- 5), and Management Plan Evaluation is based on a100-point total (Construction -- 30 points, Design -- 25 points, Project Management -- 20 points, Schedule -- 15 points, and Procurement -- 10 points).
