Postal Service is soliciting proposals to construct four (4) additional dock bays at the Springfield Bulk Mail Center at 190 Fiberloid St. in Springfield, MA. Work includes, but is not limited to, site improvements, selective demolition, foundations, cast-in-place concrete walls, and general construction. The estimated cost of the work is between $300,000.00 and $500,000.00, with completion within one hundred fifty (150) calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on August 13, 1998. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made. Proposal documents, plans and specifications will be available o/a July 16, 1998 at a cost of $30.00 per set (non-refundable) from the Facilities Service Office, U. S. Postal Service, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT 06006-0300. Certified checks or money orders only will be accepted, made payable to the Disbursing Officer, U. S.
