Work shall include a new mechanical equipment room on the basement floor East wing and renovation of existing administrative space on the first floor East wing Bldg. #1. Work will also include a new air handler which will serve the 1st and 2nd floors East Bldg. #1, new architectural finishes, ATC controls, asbestos removal, new sprinklers, and extensive mechanical and electrical work. There will be continuous traffic through the construction area via a tunnel which will be constructed by the successful bidder. The appearance of the construction site is very critical for patient care and conducting daily business, this must not be interrupted. The SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) Code for this project is 1542. The completion time for this project is 273 calendar days after notice to proceed is issued.
