The work consists of completing surveys of timber sales and related projects for terrestrial mollusc species listed ASurvey and Manage" under the Northwest Forest Plan. The Contractor shall data on terrestrial molluscs using the established protocol, ASurvey Protocol for Terrestrial Mollusc Species from the Northwest Forest Plan (Draft Version 1.9)@, dated October 28, 1997. Using qualified mollusc surveyors, the Contractor shall establish survey routes and sample plots. Survey work consists of covering hundreds of acres in rough terrain to locate these species.
