Contractor to provide off-site medical transcription services for various clinical and medical reports to the Medical Administration Service at the VA Medical Center, 150 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts and the VA Outpatient Clinic, 251 Causeway Street, Boston, Massachusetts. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated to consist of a base year and options to extend services up to an additional twenty-four months. The contractor shall have a broad knowledge of the specialized vocabulary in clinical and medical reports. Each transcriptionist must have knowledge of medical terminology and have experience typing the variety of reports required. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns and all responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. SIC 7338 applies to this solicitation. Contract award is subject to the Availability of Funds. Proposals will be evaluated on price and past performance. Past performance will encompass such factors as (1) Qualityof product and service; (2)Timeliness of Performance;(3) Management effectiveness;(4)and Customer satisfaction. You may be required to provide references to verify past performance on similar work as described in the solicitation.
