S -- DUMPSTER PICKUP AND CLEANING SERVICES SOL N62467-98-Q-3332 DUE 081398 POC Rick Pittman, (706)354-7298 The intention of this solicitation is to obtain solid waste collection and disposal, recycling services, and dumpster cleaning by means of a combination firm fixed-price/indefinite quantity contract. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to collect and dispose of solid waste, including the collections and disposal of garbage, rubbish, and other discarded solid wastes resulting from commercial, industrial, and community activities; and cleaning dumpsters as specified in the specifications and drawings. Excluded from this function is collection and disposal of: (1) hazardous wastes, (2) solids or dissolved materials in domestic sewage, and (3) infectious/medical wastes.
