new 54,400 sq. ft. Carrier Annex (there will not be a Customer Service
Retail Lobby or Postal Store.) The site is approximately 11.5 acres.
This project will not involve approximately 3 acres at the northeast
corner of the lot, which will remain as is. Site will be Government
Owned with no building construction permits. Utility connection fees,
user fees, etc., will be pre-paid by USPS. The design is based upon
USPS mid-size building Design Standard Plans. Work includes but is not
limited to, earthwork, site utilities and site improvements, paving
and landscaping. Work also includes concrete foundations and
slab-on-grade, steel structure, steel joists and decking, roof membrane
over roof insulation, sheet metal, masonry, metal stud partitions,
insulation, gypsum board walls and ceilings, ceramic tile, acoustical
ceilings, resilient flooring, carpeting, custom cabinets and fixtures,
carpentry, painting, metal doors, wood doors, metal frames, door
hardware, metal fabrications, toilet partitions and accessories,
signage, lockers. Loading dock equipment, detection systems, security
systems, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
complete and ready for use. Offeror must have a minimum of five (5)
years experience as a General contractor and must have satisfactorily
completed at least five (5) projects of similar size and scope. A
Preproposal conference has been scheduled for: August 4, 1998 @ 10:30

Benigno Blvd, Belmawr NJ 08099-9991The estimated price range is between
$3,500,000 and $4,500,000 with completion required within 300 calendar
days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Solicitation packages
will be available on or about July 20, 1998 at $ 150.00 per set,
