The building size is approximately 21,740 square feet gross on a site size of approximately 179,869 square feet net useable (excluding setbacks, easements, retention ponds, etc.). The preferred area is defined as follows: North: 59th Street South: 38th Street East: Post Road to SR67 and Mitthoefer to 59th Street West: Shadeland Avenue The offered sites/buildings must not be located in a floodplain or a wetland and proper zoning must be attainable prior to contract award. An Environmental Checklist (Facilities Transaction Questionnaire) must be submitted with the offer. In addition, the offeror must submit soils and survey data sufficient to demonstrate the suitability of the site for the intended construction and use. It is the intent that the U. S. Postal Service will take title to the site prior to construction.
