Government is conducting Market Survey as mandated by regulations to
determine if any U.S. firm has interest and capability of producing
approximately 41 Block I STINGER Missiles for delivery in approximately
2-1/2 years from date of this announcement. Responding firms would be
required to provide test results developed at firms's expense which
demonstrates the firm's product meets the design and performance
criteria of current U.S. Block I missiles as currently producible by
The Raytheon Company. No Government funds are available to test and
prove-out any new missile supplier, and there are no funds available by
the U.S. Government for developing any new potential sources. Parties
