This solicitation is a one hundred (100) percent Small Business set-aside. This part requires engineering source approval by design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item(s) described above are encouraged to identify themselves to the Contracting Officer, that they may be permitted to become an approved source once they have met source approval requirements, which will permit their participation in the current or future solicitations. Engineering testing is required and the estimated cost of the testing is $220,000which will be added to the proposals submitted by the untested sources.
