This is Amendment No. A001 to combined synopsis/solicitation number EMV-1998-RQ-0047, Line of Sight Microwave Antenna Masts, Tripods, and Pan/Tilts, CBD Submission No. 219401, response due date 7/31/98. A001 makes changes to Items 1., 2., and 3. as herein described. ITEM 1: MANDATORY Requirement No. 3 is changed to read "Vertical payload for the single antenna mast will be at least 90 lbs and 160 lbs for the dual antenna mast." MANDATORY Requirement No. 4, second sentence is changed to read "Individual units shall weight no more than 200 lbs ea." NONMANDATORY Requirement No. 7 is changed to read: "Accessories will be packed in reusable transit bags & the max weight of any individual bag (empty weight) will not exceed 40 lbs." MANDATORY Requirement No. 9 is changed to read: "Both antenna mast systems, including the antenna positioner, shall be designed so the antenna boresight deflection does not exceed 2 degrees (deg) in azimuth or elevation under worse case operating conditions & at wind speeds up to 60 mph." ITEM 2: Change the quantity of the pan/tilt antenna control mechanisms to interface w/repeater capable antenna masts (Contact P/N RTTA-D) from 10 ea to now read 20 ea. DELETE the following items: 10 ea clamp, Contact P/N EXL167x250, 10 ea clamp, Contact P/N EXL167x123, 25 ea clamp, Contact P/N EXL141x250, and 25 ea clamp, Contact P/N EXL141x123. Add the following 2 MANDATORY requirements: "MANDATORY Requirement 10. The maximum weight for the Pan/Tilt control mechanism shall not exceed 65 lbs for the repeater unit and 45 lbs for the single mast unit. MANDATORY Requirement 11. The interface between the pan/tilt positioner and antenna must be compatible with a 2" OD pipe mount 12" long." ITEM 3: Add the following item after 30 ea antenna brackets, Radio Waves P/N 100538-1, "30 ea Manual Pan & Tilts, Radio Waves P/N 4-52926-BLK or equal."
