Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to provide an official response to questions received. Question No. 1 -- Does the unit require one or two cooling coils? If it requires two, is one a DX refrigerant type and the other a chilled water coil? If a DX coil is required, can the unit be provided with a remote condensing unit? Answer: This system will only require chilled water. The DX type is not acceptable for this system. The requirement calls for one cooling coil in Item No. 1. The answer to question no. 3 on amendment no. 2 is hereby provided: Question -- What size duct is needed? Answer -- Whatever size duct it take to meet the requirement based on the temperature range, humidity range, and the sizeof the room. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on July 6, 1998.
