intent to sole source requirement under the authority of 41 U.S.C.
253(c)(1) to R&R Uniforms, Inc., 730-B Freeland Station Road,
Nashville, Tennessee 37228 for continuation of the U.S. Customs Service
uniform program for the period of October 1, 1998 through March 31,
1999 with an option for an additional six months (through September 30,
1999) to allow for the award of the new follow-on five-year contract.
The requirement provides uniform program administration services and
uniforms and related items and accessories to an estimated 10,000 U.S.
Customs Service employees authorized to wear uniforms. This contract
action will be negotiated as a modification to Contract No. Tc-94-019
(requirements type) with R&R Uniforms, Inc. This is not a solicitation.
