R -- DEVELOP A TRAINING CURRICULUM TO PARTICIPATE ON RYAN WHITE CARE ACT PLANNING BODIES SOL HRSA-98-HAB-260931 DUE 080398 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the AIDS Policy Center for Children, Youth and Families, 918 Sixteenth Street, NW, Washington, DC 20006. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to conduct a needs assessment and, based on results from the needs assessment, develop a curriculum for training women, children and youth to more effectively and comfortably participate on Ryan White CARE Act planning bodies. The contractor shall: develop a workplan; develop a needs assessment report, training objectives, and training curriculum outlines for women, youth and families participating in Title I Planning Councils and Title II Consortia; develop and distribute a draft training curriculum and set of curriculum materials and revise the curriculum materials based on review evaluations. The AIDS Policy Center for Children, Youth and Families is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is eighteen weeks.
