The work will include providing analysis, planning and assessment activities in support of assessment and integration activities; supporting the development of DOE-wide Safeguards and Security policy, procedures and standards in physical safeguards and security areas; analysis, development and promulgation support for the technical computer and operations security policy, procedures and standards; technical assistance in support of field safeguards and security programs; planning and technology development support; technical and information security support, and general administrative assistance. Access to classified material will be involved and the Contractor must have or be capable of being granted appropriate security clearances. This acquisition is open to all interested parties capable of performing the statement of work. Multiple awards are anticipated. The applicable SIC code is 8741 and the size standard is $3.5 million. A Fixed-Rate, Performance-based Award Fee, Labor-Hour contract is contemplated with one twelve month base period (74,284 direct productive labor hours) and four twelve month option periods (73,284 direct productive labor hours each).
