The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (US EPA) Office of Research and Development (ORD), is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Janitorial support at our EPA facility located at 26 West Martin Luther King Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio. The successful contractor will supply all necessary labor, material, servies and equipment necessary to perform the following tasks: (1) Vacuum and or handwipe the visible loose dirt and debris from the overhead horizontal surfaces including electrical busses/breakers, pipe racks, crane and crane rails, roof trusses, light fixtures and green unistrut framing on the central east portion. (2) Vacuum and or handwipe the roof area directly in front of the air vents on the east side of the high bay. (3) Vacuum and orhand wipe the tops of the three permanent tanks located on the south east side of the facility. (4) Vacuum and or brush the tops of the modular offices in the High Bay area and the hot box modular unit (NE). (5) Vacuum and or hand wipe all surfaces in the entry way atrium, excluding the floors and furniture. (6) Vacuum and or hand wipe horizontal structural steel (cable trays). (7) The non-hazardous waste generated is to be disposed of on site and shall be packaged consistent for regular dumpster disposal. Any lifts etc., shall be electric/battery or propane powered for indoor use. Vacuums used shall be HEPA's. THE EPA HAS SET THIS ACTION ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. The applicable SIC Code is 7349 with a size standard of $12 million in average annual receipts over the preceding three years. This CBD Notice will also serve as the Request For Quotation using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures. The anticipated award date is on or about 31`Jul 98.
