This Request For Quotation is being solicited under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). It is declared and acknowledged intention and meaning to provide and secure "GME MECHANICAL SPACE IMPROVEMENT". The work includes selective demolition of wall openings, concrete foundations for stairs and platform to include formwork and reinforcing, galvanized structural steel columns and platforms, galvanized steel floor gratings, galvanized steel stairs, flashing at new door opening, caulking, new hollow metal door and frame, door hardware and painting of exposed concrete, stairs, platform, handrail, door and frame, and all incidental related work as authorized by the Contracting Officer. Plans and Specifications will be available on 17 JULY 1998.The estimated cost is between $25,000.00 and $100,000. One Site Visit will be held on 31 July 98 beginning at the ROICC trailer, MCMWTC, Bridgeport, CA at 10:00 am. The contract duration is (90) ninety calendar days. A limited number of bid packages will be available 17 July 1998, issued on a first come first served basis until supplies are exhousted.
