Sydlik Jr., Contract Specialist 410-278-2977 FAX 410-278-2980/2077 The R&D Office, AMC Acquisition Center, U.S. Army Garrision, Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland is seeking to identify potential sources who can provide a white paper/proposal on technology developments concerning imaging capability through various construction materials (e.g. wood, stone, reinforced concrete, steel ect..) without physically penetrating the wall (drilling, blasting). The imaging must provide intuitive visual information on the composition of building components (e,g walls,roof), as well as, identify various objects such as; people and furniture on the other side of the wall. Objective technologies would need to be ruggedized and miniaturized for portable operation. Technology must not be audible to humans and safe when operated around people. Intent is to enhance search and rescue capability to individuals caught in natural disasters or similar situations. Interested firms may communicate their interest in writing to the Contract Specialist. The communication must fully document thefirm's current capability to respond to a requirement of this type, including specifications of their product lines, pictures, drawings and any other commercial/marketing material available. Tgis is not a request for proposal. No solicitation exists; however, all responses within the 25 days from the date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the Government to determine what firms in the marketplace currently have this capability. The final determination, based on the information provided is solely within the the discretion of the Government.
