The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) has a requirement to procure a satellite downlink and audiovisual projection systems. The system consists of the following equipment: Antenna -- Paraclipse 7.5' or 10' Hydro VP solid aluminum or mesh dish OR Prodelin 1344, 3.4 m fiberglass OR Paraclipse Patriot 3.1m solid dish OR equivalent; Receiver -- Next Level Systems 4DTV digital satellite receiver OR equivalent; Chaparral Corotor II Plus dual band feedhorn OR equivalent; Norsat C-band LNB, 8900 series commercial OR equivalent; Norsat Ku-band LNB, 7000 series commercial OR equivalent; Actuator -- 18" or 24" Saganaw heavy-duty ball screw actuator OR equivalent; Grounding system for dish and cables; Distribution amp, if required; De-scrambler for CNN reception; Custom pole mount or non-penetrating roof mount (approved by DFAS officials); All miscellaneous materials (e.g., cabling, connectors, high-end 2-way/4-way splitters, wall plates, etc.); Labor; Installation; User training; Three-year maintenance agreement; and Nine additional viewing location drops. 1) Electrohome ECP3500, BarcoData 808, Panasonic PT-1083 DataPro VII CRT projector OR equivalent with these features at minimum: Horizontal: 15Khz-62Khz; Vertical: 45Hz-120Hz autoblock; 7" electrostatic focus CRT; 1280 X 1024 pixel resolution; 1020 TV lines; 120 ANSI lumen; 725 lumens (10% peak white); remote control; RGB interface; 2) Ceiling mount for projector; 3) Multi-standard, SVHS decoder module OR equivalent; 4) Crestron Cresnet II minisystem, AMX Accent 2 Integrated System OR equivalent for control of the following input sources (PCs, VCRs, satellite drops, graphic presenters, and motorized screen); 5) System switcher with built-in video to RGBS decoder and scan doubler with full motion interpolation; 6) EXTRON RGB 109 Plus OR equivalent: Computer interface with monitor loop through high resolution 15-pin HD connector output; 7) FSR 1 x 4 audio distribution amplifier with power supply; FSR 1 x 3 video distribution amplifier with power supply OR equivalent; 8) TOA integrated amplifier OR equivalent: 120W RMS, 8 ports, 2 mute buses, BALCK, remote master; 9) 8" ceiling speakers (ATLAS Soundolier OR equivalent), white, round, with recessed round enclosures, mounting rings, T-bar bridges; 10) Motorized screen, Draper Targa 100" diagonal motorized OR equivalent; 11) Installation materials, all cabling, connectors, wall plates, etc. These systems need to be installed and integrated at: DFAS-Dayton Operating Location, 1050 Forrer Boulevard, Dayton, OH 45420-1472. The purpose of this is to provide the capability to receive analog and digital satellite signals in multiple viewing locations and to project in two training rooms audio, video, and digital signals from the following sources: PC, VCR, satellite system, and graphics presenter.
