The project consists of constructing a new dredged material placement site at an area previously used for containment of dredged material from the nearby navigation channel at Richmond Deepwataer Terminal on James River. The work includes demolition of existing spillboxes and appurtenant structures and piping, clearing of vegetation and felling of trees, excavating and backfilling, construction of the dike, new spillboxes with associated drain pipe and stone protection with a timber access walkway, finish grading, and all other associated work as indicated and specified.
