The new construction owned facility will consist of furnishing all labor, material, equipment, ect., necessary for constructing approximately 30,600 GSF postal facility (including enclosed parking). Project includes but is not limited to site development and improvements, demolition of existing builing, structural system, masonry and insluated metal wall panels, roofing, interior finishes and assembly of postal supplied equipment. The estimated cost of this project is between 3.5 and 4.3 Million. Criteria for qualification will be based on: 1) Price, 2) Past Performance of similar projects, 3) References, 4) Financial Stability. The contractor will need the ability to obtain bonding in the state of Alaska. Completion of construction is 360 calendar days. A proposal bond of 20% of the entire project will need to accompany the offer. Also a 100% Performance Bond and 50% Payment Bond will be required from the contractor before award.
