The work consists of new work dredging portions of Oyster Channel to a depth of 7 feet, with an allowable overdepth of one foot. The contractor must use the Government's upland dredged material management site for the placement of dredged material. The work includes placement site vegetation clearing; inspection, repair, and maintenance of the dike including dike construction, spillboxes, piping, and access walkway; and all other associated work as indicated and specified. Including estimated accretion and allowable overdepth, the work involves dredging approximately 24,000 cubic yards of material. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000.
