Work will consist of dismantling the 300-foot segment, sorting approximately 4,500 tons of material, pressure washing about 280 tons of chinking stone into the jetty, construction and grouting the core layer with about 1,900 tons of material, and replacing the armor layer over the 300-foot segment with approximately 4,000 tons of sorted jetty stone and 2,500 tons of new 2-ton stone. Work will also involve walkway, fishing pier and utility modifications. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000. to $5,000,000.00.
