Truman Presidential Library, 500 West U.S. Highway 24, Independence, MO 64050. Scope of Work involves removal of a cooling tower (3 cell), associated piping and pumps, and replacement of same with new. Existing cooling tower cannot be removed during cooling season, and new tower is to be on site before start of removal of existing tower. Remove asbestos contaminated materials. ESTIMATED COST RANGE $100,000 TO $200,000. Proof of Competency will be required to be submitted with the bid. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. However, this procurement is being made under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Copies of this solicitation will not be available until approximately August 10, 1998.
