Furnish all labor, materials, tools, and supervision necessary for Project 533-97-132, Fire Sprinkler 2000, Phase II at VA Hudson Valley Health Care System, Castle Point Campus, Castle Point, NY. The scope of this project include buildings: 15H-Wing, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, recreation building, connecting corridors, enclosed walkways and tunnel. The specific elements of the work include, but not limited to: Installation of new fire pump; new sprinkler systems for attics in buildings 19, 20 & 21; New sprinkler system for penthouses in building 15, 16, 17 & 18; Removal of existing sprinkler services connected to domestic cold water system; Installation of new control valves in various locations; Installation of tamper switches on existing and new control valves; Installation of monitor modules for cables for connection to fire alarm system; Programming of fire alarm panels; Installation of check valves at all existing sprinkler control valve locations; Installation of new pipe hangers on existing piping; Replacement of undersized pipes; Demolition of existing dry pipe systems in building 15H-Wing; Demolition of existing antifreeze systems in buildings 19, 20 & 21; Installation of additional sprinklers and connection to existing systems; Replacement of existing sprinklers with new; Relocation of existing sprinklers; Installation of new escutcheons; Drainging of existing systems; Testing of new and existing systems; Installation of new fire department siamese connection in recreation building; Installation of new alarm test valves, drain pipes and risers; Installation of access panels and enclosures for pipe risers; Replacement of damaged ceiling tiles; Painting of piping and building elements. Construction cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
