The scope of the work is to obtain services to perfrom underground steam and condensate piping systems repairs. The work includes the replacement of an 8" expansion joint in the vicinity of Building 29CHI, the replacement of steam and condensate lines from Steam Manhole 2-17 to Building 1801 CP, and the repair of structural members of teh steam trench spanning the road at Building 55CHI and the trench at Builing 109CHI. B. The estimated cost range is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00. The SIC Code is 1711 and the size standard is $7.0 Million. C. The proposed contract (solicitation) will be set-aside for Small Business Concerns, and is subject to evalaution criteria set forth in DFARS 252.219-7008, Notice of Evaluation Preference for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns, Construction Acquisition Test Program(APR 96). There will be a charge for plans and specifications, however as of this time not dollar amount has yet to be establsihed. D. This pre-invitation notice does not serve as your request for plans and specifications. E. The fee to be charged along with the address for you to send your payment will be stated in the CBD once this office is ready to issue the subject solicitation. F. Prosepective contractors must register in the Central Contractor Regsistration Database prior to award.
