PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST PLANS NOW. A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE WILL BE PUBLISHED BEFORE INVITATIONS ARE ISSUED. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and construction to perform site demolition, site work, asbestos abatement, removal of material containing lead paint, interior demolition, steel framing, steel roof deck, carpentry, metal door frams, wood doors, door hardware, aluminum standing seam roofing, roof insulation, sheet metal flashing, exterior insulation and finish systems, gypsum board, cabinets, painting, acoustical ceilings, flooring material, mechanical, electrical and incidental related work. This solicitation contains options for: a. Basis of Bid for Item 0001: Entire work complete in accordance with the drawings and specifications, but not including work indicated or specified to be provided under any of the other bid options. b. Bid Option 0002: Shall be the addition of the following, complete in accordance with the requirements specified hereinafter. Courtyard hardscaping, Landscaping and Lighting. c. Bid Option 0003: Shall be the addition of the following, complete in accordance with the requirements specified hereinafter. Ceramic tile for kitchens and hallways of living units (in lieu of resilient tile flooring and base). d. Bid Option 0004: Shall be the addition of the following, complete in accordance with the requirements specified hereinafter. Solid polymer thermoset polymer alloy countertops and countertops with integral sinks throughout the facility (in lieu of laminated plastic countertops). e. Bid Option 0005: Shall be the addition of the following, complete in accordance with the requirements specified hereinafter. Stacking combination washer/dryer units where shown. Refrigerators where shown. f. Bid Option 0006: shall be the addition of the following, complete in accordance with the requirements specified hereinafter. Application of traffic coating at all exterior stairs and passageways. Theoptions may be exercised at time of award, or at a later date up to a period of calendar days. The bids will be evaluated inclusive of the options. -- Following tentative dates apply: Issue invitations 07/24/98, Open Bids 08/25/98, complete contract 12/99. -- Estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
