The purpose of this amendment is to add an additional requirement as follows: Camel, recycled plastic camel, recycled plastic with 16-inch diameter SCH30 pipe core and stainless steel HAWSE Pipe assemblies at each end of the camel. Size: 24 inch Diameter X 40 feet long, quantity: 16 each. Plastic shall be a mixture of one or more of the following recycled post consumer or post industrial thermo plastics: High density polyethylene, Polypropylene and low density polyethylene with a minimum of 2.5 percent by volume, carbon black. Minimum physical properties of the plastic shall be as follows: Density (ASTM D792) 34-55LBS/CF; Modulus of elasticity 45000 PSI MIN.; Compressive Strength (ASTM D695) 3500 PSI MIN.; Ultimate Tensile Strength (ASTM D638) 500 PSI MIN.; Water Absorption (ASTM D570) less than 3% weight increase in 24 hours. Ultraviolet (ASTM D4329 BLAMP) no more than 10% changein shore D Durometer hardness after 500 hours exposure. Pipe core of the camel shall be a 36 ft. long section of 16 in. diameter SCH 30 ASTM A53-90A GR B steel pipe. A in. thick steel cap shall be welded to each end sealing the pipe, and the pipe core is to be filled with polyurethane. The pipe core is to be centered longitudinally and from the sides of the camel. HAWSE pipe assemblies shall be constructed of 3 in. diameter stainless steel pipe with a 6 in. diameter X 1 in. thick collar welded to each end forming a passage through the camel for chain. One assembly will be installed 18 inches from each end of the camel, perpendicular to the axis of the camel and parallel with each other on the same plane through the center of the camel.
