99 -- MISCELLANEOUS POC Robin Smalley (757) 628-4142, Purchasing Agent-SOURCES SOUGHT The U.S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic is seeking sources to provide Product Discription and Technical Data on a Target Conveyor Firing Range System for 10 point Small Arms Firing Range (Indoor). The essential features of the system are: System must utilize existing target conveyor rails and existing AC power, no downrange position sensors or wiring that can be struck by bullets and damaged. Further, no element of the system shall present a surface that causes bullets to be deflected back toward the shooters or toward the sidewalls or overhead. System must allow remote control from a panel located in the existing control booth, system must allow individual control from each of the ten(10) firing points on the line. The control panel must display full status and target position of all firing points and include a manual overide. The Control System must be capable of manual or pre-programmed operation to run the Coast Guard Basic Pistol Marksmanship Course, Basic Rifle Marksmanship Course, Practical Pistol Course, Practical Rifle Course, Riot Shotgun Course or any distance/time/position modification of these courses within a 25 yard range. System shall include a permanent memory so that the courses donot have to be re-entered everytime system is energized. System shall control the targets so they rotate left, right or forward through 180 degrees of motion and stop at a minimum of 50 locations(during a single course run) on the command of the small arms instructor who operates the remote console. The Communications System shall allow two-way,controllable volume, communication between the control booth and each shooter on the firing line.
