Jene', 205-933-4493 Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation and supervision necessary to perform coding validation of ICD-9-CM, HCPCS, and CPT-4 code assignment in both the outpatient and inpatient computer system versus documentation found in the patient record for VISN 7 Medical Centers (Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina) for the period of one year from date of award with two one year option renewals. Contractor shall be required to estimate the sample size for each medical center based on a 95% confidence level, and shall provide physician and medical record technician training based on the identified deficiencies found in the review. Contractor must have RRA, ART or CCS credentials with a minimum five years experience reviewing large tertiary care hospitals. Award will be made on a source selection (FAR 15) basis and will be based on the availability of funds. Rating factors, in descending order of preference are: quality of services, past performance, staffing/equipment, pricing.
