Etzel, Contracting Officer, 703-305-8579, The Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) located in Crystal City, Arlington, Virginia anticipates entering into a five year (base and four options) time and material contract to continue the implementation, operation, maintenance, expansion and enhancement of the Enterprise Call Center and related telephone customer service systems for PTO. Phase One, the ECC infrastructure has been installed. This acquisition is being offered for competition limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. Interested 8(a) firms should request a copy of the solicitation as expeditiously as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the section 8(a) program. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 4813 Telephone communications -- $10 million. Only written requests for the solicitation are acceptable. The contractor shall provide equipment, materials, supplies, office space, renovations, and furniture as tasked or necessary to perform the services of this contract. The contractor shall continue the implementation of the ECC and related telephone customer service systems by preparing documentation designing; developing; and testing software; integrating COTS; migrating data from existing systems; supporting the transition to product and maintaining, enhancing, and expanding the production system. The contractor shall review existing telephone customer service operations within PTO to identify other areas of automation.
