The contractor shall provide a dietician who will be required to perform dietary evaluations and assessments. The contractor provided dietician will also be required to provide instruction to the patients and institutional healthcare staff on nutrition and specific dietary information for pathology or diseases which may be treated with dietary management. The minimum requirements for performing as a dietician include the submission of a certification of graduation from an accredited program of dietary medicine; a valid and current license and registration as a dietician in the State of New York; and three letters of reference from individuals in the dietary medicine field.
