The contractor shall perform the work with a bucket dredge and deposit the dredged material by bottom-dumping barges or scows within the Rehandling Basin at the Craney Island Dredged Material Management Area. Including allowable overdepth and estimated accretion of 1,900 cubic yards of material to September 1998 the work involves dredging approximately 40,000 cubic yards of material.
