58 -- COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, RANGE CONTROL SOL W25KYC-8188-N004 POC Contract Specialist Richard W. Boger (717) 861-8687 (Site Code DAHA36) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number as shown in this announcement is a Request For Proposal (RFP). The items required include but are not limited to the contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision to provide a replacement of two (2) existing radio systems (low band VHF FM). Also a guide tower not exceeding 175 feet to be erected at the current location (Manada Hill site). This equipment for the Pennsylvania Army National Guard is for installation in building 11-9 at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, Pennsylvania. The location of radio coverage shall be within longitude 76 degrees 45 seconds to 76 degrees 30 seconds and latitude 40 degrees 15 seconds to 40 degrees 30 seconds. The successful contractor shall assume all responsibility until testing of the proposed equipment, by the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, for all areas listed in paragraph 2 a and b of the Statement of Work has been completed and the equipment satisfactorily acceptable. The following is a listing of the equipment required as forecasted by the Government. 2 each low band repeaters, reference paragraph 6a of SOW; 2 each base stations installed in building 11-9 reference paragraphs 6b and 6c of SOW; 6 each vehicle mounted mobile radios reference paragraph 6d of SOW; 5 each mobile radio units shall be interchangeable with repeaters, vehicle mounted radios, reference paragraph 6e of SOW; 15 each portable hand held radios reference paragraph 4e and 6f of SOW; 3 each multi unit battery chargers reference paragraph 6h of SOW; 2 each external mounted antenna for use with hand held radios reference paragraph 6i of SOW; 1 each 175 foot maximum guide tower at location specified reference paragraph 5 of SOW. Contractors interested in this synopsis/solicitation shall notify the contracting office by fax (717) 861-8604, Attn: CW2 Richard W. Boger. Those contractors will be forwarded the Statement of Work, Bid Schedule and map of the area. Each contractor must include its Federal Tax Identification Number and corporate status. Corporate status means the concern's designation as a 1) sole proprietorship, 2) partnership, or 3) other corporate entity. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. Contractors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Item with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Item applies to this acquisition.
