THE USPFO FOR OREGON HAS AN INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE THE FOLLOWING ITEM: Self contained, transportable, semi-automated radio test set for the operational verification testing and/or repair of the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS) and their associated LRU's. System needs to include cables, test set assembly and testing software. The system must be micro processor controlled, digitally synthesized communication service monitor which combines the functionality of many different test into a single, compact unit. Which include RF Generator, Oscilloscope, Modulation Meter, Receiver Duplex, Digital Mulitmeter, Audio Frequency Meter, Signal Strength Meter, Audio Frequency Meter, Tracking Generator, AF Generator, Deviation Meter, Frequency Error Meter, Bit Error Rate Meter, Cable Fault Detector, Spectrum Analyzer, Distortion Meter, and Phase Modulation Meter. The system must be able to expand on the features listed above. It must contain LRU specific portions of the hardware /software required to interface with, and perform diagnostics and repair on the following: Ground Radios, Control Monitors, Loudspeaker, Remote control unit, Airborne Radios, RF Amplifiers, Y Cable, Remote, Remote controls, Battery Box, Single Radio Mount, FH Mux, Fill Devices, Battery Tray and Amplified Adapters.
