731-7173 Items required as follows: Microprocessor controls to convert
twelve (12) each Washex washers, Model No. 46/110, 600 lb., and three
(3) each Model No. 36/18, 65 lb. from card reader controls. Minimum
requirements for operation: (1) Microprocessor controls should be able
to be integrated to current washer controls, (2) Control unit should
have an LED readout, (3) Control enclosure unit should be flush or
surface mountable, (4) Microprocessor enclosure should be
moisture-proof, have a sealed enclosure and membrane front panel, (5)
Hot/cold water outputs, (6) Steam/heat outputs with programmable
operating temperatures, (7) Water level control outputs, (8) Minimum 6
chemical supply signals, programmable from 1 second to 60 minutes, (9)
Minimum number of programmable formulas-15, (10) Number of programmable
functions -- 20, (11) Number of events (steps) in a formula -- 50, (12)
Memory -- nonvolatile-programmable, (13) Control security -- lockable
and/or password protected. Bid price shall include installation and
staff training. Bidders are encouraged to perform on-site inspection.
Work to be performed shall not interfere with production. Controls to
interface with chemical injection system. This procurement is
unrestricted. The applicable SIC code is 3577. Solicitation will be
