This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order to CISCO Systems, San Jose, CA 95134-1706 for the maintenance on the items cited above. Offerors who can furnish the required maintenance for the period 1 October 1998 through 30 September 1999 shall submit, in writing, a proposal substantiated by technical data, brochures, etc. to include complete pricing (FOB Destination). Payments shall be made on a monthly basis in arrears. All responses must be received within 15 Calendar days of the date of this CBD notice. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests for a solicitation will be considered nonresponsive. All responses from responsible sources submitting the required information will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officermay determine that the action may be competed with resulting award under the Simplified Acquisiton Procedures.
