Proposed Work: OO-ALC intends to issue a Request For Proposals (RFP)
for the operation and maintenance of ground-based radar threat systems
using both real and simulated Eastern/Western European technologies.
Initial estimates of contract value are approximately $1 million per
year. It is anticipated that contract performance will begin at
contract award for a period of one year, with four one-year option
periods. It is planned to conduct this acquisition using full and open
competitive source selection procedures in accordance with AFFARS
Appendix BB. 3. Location of work to be performed: US Air Force's Nellis

Request For Industry Comment / Advisory Multi-Step Process. Interested
industry sources are invited to provide comments to the Government on
draft solicitation documents, as well as to participate in an Advisory
Multi-Step Process. Please see the web site address given in Paragraph
5 above for information on draft documents and the Advisory Multi-Step
Process. For those desiring to participate in the advisory multi-step
process, responses are required by 2 PM MDT on 05 Aug 98. Industry
comments concerning draft solicitation documents should be submitted no
