U -- EDUCATIONAL SERVICES SOL RFQ 126-0008-8 DUE 090898 POC Jake Anderson, Jr., Contracting Officer, (214) 767-5032 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office intends to issue RFQ 126-0008-8 to provide educational services for three (3) instructors to the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution, Bastrop, Texas. Subjects for instruction will include educational sessions in the areas of Adult Basic Education, English as-a-Second Language, General Education Development, and adult Continuing Education, to inmate students. It is estimated that 1320 sessions will be required during a 12 month period. A session is defined as a whole day (specifically 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year with four (4) option years for renewal. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 7, 1998, with a deadline for receipt of quotation on or about September 8, 1998.
