The description of services should read as follows: The USDA Forest Service, Washington DC, seeks a vendor to provide newsclippings to the Forest Service Office of Communication for placement on the Forest Service internal website. Contractors should be capable of searching a selection of newspapers, publications, and wire services for news articles on natural resource topics. The search should include national, regional, and local newspapers and wire services daily for articles of importance to the Forest Service. Key words that will serve as a basis for the selection of articles will be provided by the agency to the contractor and adjusted as necessary. The newspapers and wire services searched need to adequately represent regions across the country, but it is essential to survey national newspapers, the Associated Press, and the Oregonian. The articles that will be provided should be in a form compatible with the Forest Service electronic information delivery system and searchable such as ascii or html. The contractor shall provide articles by 10:00 a.m. EST each working day.
