This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. Delivery shall be FOB destination. Responses to this RFQ must be received by 7 Aug 98 at 2:00 p.m. Delivery and Finance addresses will be provided upon award. Offerors are required to document past performance suitability and provide opportunity for verification. Award will be made to the lowest responsible offeror. SPECIFICATIONS/STATEMENT OF WORK: The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, transportation, tools, materials, personnel and supervision to perform all operations necessary to clean and sanitize the air conveyance systems at the 459th Wing Headquarters building to comply and exceed current EPA standards. All work to be performed after normal duty hours. GENERAL INFORMATION: the contractor shall air wash and brush approximately 4,175 linear feet of supply and return ductwork serving seven (7) air handling units located on first and second floors using HEPA filtered negative air machines and vacuums. Cut access opening in ductwork where necessary to ensure complete cleaning and cover with "sandwich" type access doors. Remove, wash, and replace approximately 200 diffusers and registers. Clean Plenums, coils, and fans in seven (7) air handling units. Clean three (3) return fans and two (2) exhaust fans. Upon completion of cleaning, systems will be fogged with "Oxine", an EPA registered sanitizer. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 17 Aug 98 -- 25 Sep 98.
