The District of Columbia Tax & Economic Policy Administration (TEP) has a requirement for a software package what will enable the TEPA to configure and run simulations of tax models to extrapolate the impact on revenues that would occur if proposed changes to tax laws and/or tax rates were to be put in force. -- -- A solicitation is being prepared and will be distributed in the middle of August 1998 to firms which respond to this message stating they regularly offer such packages on the open market and can support the software with training of D.C., employees on its operation and provide maintenance and upgrades. -- -- Firms having promotional materials (to include demonstration copies of software which performs such modelling) may send materials to the MSC-Procurement Office in Suite 410S (not 440S) at the 441 4th St. address in line 7, above.
