Requests must reference the IFB number and the contractors complete
mailing address. A wage determination has been requested for the
Washington-Baltimore Metropolitan Area and is pending. The contracting
officer will request additional places or areas of performance if
asked to do so in writing by August 21, 1998. The USDA'S Forest Service
intends to fabricate and install interpretive exhibits into an existing
visitor center located off the historic Route 66 in Williams, Arizona.
The exhibit space area is 800 square feet in size. Scope of work is
comprised of fabrication and installation of the following: floor, wall
and post-supported panels which contain graphics, photographs,
artifacts, silkscreening, interactive and audio visual components, and
incorporation of glass and mirror elements; lighting and electrical
work; and treatments for walls, floor and windows. Exhibit fabrication
is to be museum quality. The USDA will also require a unit cost for
the option to purchase additional panels, materials and/or services.
