POC -- Lynn Raque (502) 582-5990 Two solicitations are being combined
into one package. One solicitation, DACA27-98-R-0055, is 100% Set-aside
for Small Business concerns only. The other solicitation,
DACA27-98-R-0056, is full and open competition. This contract is
intended to provide quick response to building demolition, repairs,
renovations and minor construction situations, including site work
related to utility replacement, pavement replacement and sidewalks,
geotechnical, landscaping, surveying and mapping, architectural, food
service, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, security
and safety areas of primarily U.S. Army Reserve Centers in the United
States; it may also be used for other projects in the Louisville
District mission area. The work may involve replacement in kind,
renovation, repairs and modification construction. It may include
incidental to the construction: (1) project design; ( 2) testing,
survey and abatement for lead base paint (LBP), asbestos containing
materials (ACM), and/or underground storage tanks (UST). Government
facility repairs, renovations and minor construction shall conform to
the requirements of the technical criteria furnished by individual task
orders. The maximum contract obligation is for $5 million per year with
options for an additional $5 million per year with four option years
after the base year. The maximum size of task orders is anticipated to
be approximately $1 million. Proposals will be evaluated on (1)
Management Proposal; (2) Experience; (3) Quality Control Plan; (4)
Subcontracting Plan (Sol # DACA27-98-R-0056); and (5) Price.
Solicitations have an approximate issue date of 12 August 1998 and
proposal due date of 11 September 1998. THIS PROJECT IS AVAILABLE ON
COMPACT DISK (CD) ONLY. Project specification files are in Portable
Document Format (PDF) and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using
Source View. Both software are available on the compact disk. System
requirements are: Windows 3.1 or greater, 4MB application RAM, 4MB hard
