This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; written proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number DAAA03-98-T-0216 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAC) 97-4 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DAC 91-13).The acquisition methodology is full and open competition pursuant the the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA) has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, travel and supervision to replace HVAC at Building 63-410 located on PBA in accordance with PBA Department of Public Works Drawing No. 63-410ME-1000. The drawing will be provided upon written request by POCs listed above. The drawing provides all salient information, i.e., plumbling, equipment schedule, room layout, mechanical plan, etc. All equipment listed herein shall be "LENNOX" or approved equal: AHU1A (1 G24M4/5-140 gas furnace, 1 HS26-653 condenser 208V3PH, 1 C26-65FC cooling coil TXV included, 1 provide matching thermostat); AHU1B (same as AHU1A); AHU2 (2 G24M4/5-140 Gas Furnace, 1 LSA 120C Condenser 208V3PH, 1 C23-65FC cooling coil TXV included, 1 provide matching thermostat); HV1 (2 G21Q4/5-100, requires twining kit, two stage heating stat, economizer damper if required EMD14M-65). Note: All thermostats to be provided with locking acrylic covers. Proposals received in response to this notice will be considered for award to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest overall cost to the Government.
